Logistics site changes hands for almost £5m
A fully let 70,000 sq ft logistics property in Cheshire has been bought for almost £5m.
Helical, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, has completed the disposal of Calver Quay in Warrington to Cabot Properties for £4.7m. The property is fully let to two tenants.
The company recently completed a re-gear on the largest of the two leases. CBRE acted for the buyer.
Helical has also sold a 10,000 sq ft office building in Islington to a private purchaser for £7.5m. And it has exchanged contracts on a 21,000 sq ft office building in Cobham to a private purchaser for £7.2m.
Duncan Walker, investment director at Helical, said: “We continue to rotate our mature assets with these sales, demonstrating the strength of investor demand for income producing assets as well as highlighting the effectiveness of our ongoing asset management capabilities.” Read more
