North West Fast Track entries revealed
A Merseyside-based online bathroom specialist, a Cheshire-headquartered bar and pub operator and a women’s fashion retailer in Greater Manchester are among 13 North West companies to have made it into The Sunday Times‘ list of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies.
The region’s 13 business that feature in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100, compared to eight last year, include seven new entrants to the table. Their sales have grown by an average of 95 per cent a year over three years to a total of £362m, and together they now employ almost 2,000 staff.
The region’s top-ranked company is Skelmersdale-based online pharmacy Chemist-4-U.com, which makes it into the top three with 173 per cent annual sales growth over three years. Sales in Britain, Germany and Denmark helped the business boost sales to £16.9m last year, and it also hopes to expand into France and Scandinavia. Read More
