CHESHIRE AND WARRINGTON BUSINESS GROWTH PROGRAMME: Effective Pitching: Developing a Compelling Business Pitch
About this Event
This hands-on half-day workshop will help you to both prepare and deliver a compelling ‘pitch’: essential for effectively publicising your business to customers, suppliers, funders and all others who want to know what you’re about.
The hard bits are succinctly defining your ‘Value Proposition’, and then delivering it confidently, concisely and in a variety of different situations. The good news is that it is remarkably simple to do if you use the right tools – and especially if you have convinced yourself you are not cut out for pitching (you are!). You will come away with a differentiated Value Proposition, and a tried and tested ‘elevator pitch’ safely under your belt.
Introduction to your Workshop Provider
This highly interactive workshop is delivered by Mark Bosworth. With over 30 years’ experience in industry across commercial roles in numerous sectors and territories, Mark is seasoned in pitching products and services. He now trains, advises and coaches in this and related areas, with a clear focus on presenting not just the tools to do the job, but also the even more important ‘mental mindset’ to instil confidence and competence in even the most reluctant ‘pitcher’. His workshops focus on clear structure, hands-on practice relevant to YOUR business and plentiful of opportunities to discuss and learn from each other.
These workshops are for beneficiaries of the Cheshire & Warrington Business Growth Programme – if you are not yet registered to the fully-funded programme you can still register for a ticket and you will be contacted by our team to check your eligibility. For any queries please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01244 512 655. Please also contact us if the event is fully-booked and you’d like to be added to the waitlist.
To be eligible to apply for support from the ERDF-funded Cheshire & Warrington Business Growth Programme you must be:

- Local – your business address (registered or trading) is within the Cheshire East, the Cheshire West and Chester, or the Warrington council areas.
Do I need to bring or prepare anything for the workshop?
All you need to bring is yourself, a pen, notebook and a willingness to learn. We will ask for some details about your business upon registration to the workshop – this will help us in tailoring content to your needs.
Light refreshments (tea, coffee, water, biscuits) will be provided throughout the workshop.
Unfortunately we cannot offer event parking at the Riverside Innovation Centre, however there is paid parking available a short walk away at the Little Roodee car park. If you need a disabled parking space please let us know.
