CITB and the Cheshire and Warrington local authorities invite you to a Construction Labour and Skills Research Consultation Workshop to be held on Tuesday 25th September 2018, starting at 9.30am, at Cheshire College – South & West, Dane Bank Avenue, Crewe, CW2 8AB.

At the workshop there will be a presentation on the draft findings of the research produced by CITB to look at the Construction Labour and Skills in Cheshire & Warrington. This is an opportunity for you to understand the importance of construction to the local economy, to find out about the scale of the future construction planned in Cheshire & Warrington, and to comment on the findings of the research, which will inform the final report.

9.50am to 10.20am: Research Findings Presentation – find out more about the pipeline of construction work in Cheshire and Warrington, the skills needs linked to the pipeline, how this matches training provision, and what this means for the industry over the next 5 years

10.20am to 11.10am: Round Table Discussion – does the evidence presented match your views of what’s happening in Cheshire & Warrington, and what should happen next

11.10am to 11.50am: Feedback

11.50am to 12 noon: Next Steps and Close
