What does it do?

Grants of £35,000 to £170,000

The EU funded Rural Development Programme for England currently has available Grants of up to £170,000 to businesses support the implementation of projects which are aimed at significantly increasing your business growth, increasing employment and improving the rural economy in Cheshire & Warrington.

Applications for RDPE Grants are focused on three areas;

Food Processing

Rural Tourism

Rural Micro & SME Business Development

What will the benefits be for me?
Grants are available for between 40 and 100% of the cost of the project up to a maximum grant value of £170,000 depending on the sector, type and aim of the project and are primarily aimed at supporting capital projects such as buying new equipment or construction new buildings or workshops.
The deadline for applications is 31 January 2018 and only projects within defined rural areas are eligible for RDPE grant support. Details on how to find out if your area is eligible for support can be found in the appropriate handbook.
