Certificate in Leadership & Management (Level 3)
What is the course about?
The ILM Level 3 programme in Leadership and Management is suitable for those who are, or aspire to become, first line managers. The certificate is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and on completion of the course you will be awarded with an ILM L3 Certificate in Leadership and Management.
The course is 30 weeks in length and includes a 2 hour induction online, 4 group tutorials using video conferencing technology, and independent study supported by teachers through email.
You will gain a range of key management skills and put them into practice within your own role.
You will build leadership capabilities by motivating and engaging teams and managing relationships confidently.
You will also be able to develop your leadership and management skills using your own knowledge, values and motivations.
What will I learn?
The course will develop your understanding of leadership and how to lead and motivate a team effectively by covering a number of units such as:
• Understanding leadership
• Leading and motivating an effective team
• Developing people in the workplace
• Understanding how to manage remote workers
• Understanding the organisation and its context
You will be assessed through written assignments which will help to develop your reflective practice.
