Business Growth Club: Sustainability

The University of Chester welcomes all to their first Business Growth event of 2021 which is themed around ‘Sustainability’.

About this Event

Here at the University of Chester we are thrilled to announce the details of our first Business Growth Club event of 2021. Our panel of expert speakers, will discuss the importance of sustainability and its prominence for businesses now in a new era focussed on decarbonisation and the rise in consumer expectations of businesses to commit to the sustainability agenda.

We will hear from three businesses (Protein RebelPeel L and PCadent Gas) and how they have established a sustainability-driven focus central to their business.

“Cheshire and Warrington has one of the UK’s highest concentrations of industry and manufacturing providing many highly skilled and paid jobs. To deliver decarbonisation and drive economic growth, we need to act to reduce our carbon emissions and safeguard these industries. Right now, we have a world leading proposition to deliver industrial decarbonisation, working together across the region we can make this happen.”

– Joseph Howe, Executive Director

Thornton Energy Research Institute, University of Chester and Chair of North West Hydrogen Alliance

As always with our Business Growth Club live events, you will be able to submit questions, and engage with our panel.

The event is live on Microsoft Teams. You do not have to have Microsoft Teams downloaded to attend this event.
