VK Business Assist: Accelerate Case Study
VK Business Assists specialises in organising customer information into user friendly, inexpensive CRM systems. Veronica Kitten, owner of VK Business Assist recently completed funded sales training through the Accelerate programme.
Accelerate is an ESF funded programme delivered by the University of Chester and the Cheshire and Warrington Growth Hub which is part of the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership. UbThe programme provides people who live and/or work in Cheshire and Warrington the opportunity to receive funding towards the cost of skills training. Veronica from VK Business Assist contacted Richard Corley one of the skills brokers for Accelerate, who helped her access her desired training course that allowed her to sharpen her sales skills.
Veronica completed funded sales training with Sandler training through Accelerate which has already deemed beneficial for her company. This course has enabled Veronica to:
- Create clear objectives for her business
- Put in place processes that make enquiries easier to manage
- Develop an improved way of onboarding new clients
Veronica Kitten, Owner of VK Business Assist said:
“My experience of Richard and the Accelerate team was seamless from start to finish. I approached Richard as I had identified a sales training course that I really wanted to do and that would help my business.
The start of the course was within a week of me contacting Richard. He could not have been more helpful. He ensured that my application was processed as quickly as possible and all boxes were ticked to ensure my application was seen quickly.
I am pleased to say that I got my place on the course and it is already proving helpful. Thank you!”
Richard Corley, Skills Broker for Accelerate said:
“With over 100 high-quality courses currently available through the Accelerate programme, this is a fantastic opportunity for businesses and employees in Cheshire and Warrington.
I helped Veronica access funded training that enhanced her personal development but also enabled growth in other areas of her business. It is great to see that her business is already benefiting from the course.
This funding enables employees and businesses to develop their skills affordably. Myself and Mark Shepherd are on hand to talk to any businesses who are looking for a cost effective way to enhance their teams skills and increase business resilience.”
