The council’s careers team – Warrington LiFE – have teamed up with The Pledge Partnership to bring you this years – Your Future, Your Choice, Move on! careers fair
Now in its 9th year, this event has helped thousands of young people make those all important decisions when it comes to their careers. Normally held at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, this year due to COVID-19 we are going virtual. Join us and representatives from further education, higher education and employers including apprenticeships on Tuesday 6 October from 4.00pm till 7pm and have all your questions answered.
Local employers will be showcasing opportunities available for young people including both apprenticeships and full time jobs. There will also be opportunities for students to discuss the options that are available in their chosen sector, or alternatively, help them decide which career area is best for them.
For those students who are keen to continue their education and learning, local colleges and training providers will be available to discuss the courses and guidance that are available.
Cllr Matt Smith, cabinet member for children’s services said: “This will be an unmissable opportunity for young people to speak to college representatives and employers about increasing their employability and potential job vacancies in and around Warrington.
“The event will be helpful for all young people who are looking for further guidance when considering the next stages of their career.”
